Teaching & Consultation
My passion for the social work profession is powered in part by loved ones, teachers, and supervisors who have modeled authenticity, honesty, and curiosity in the helping profession. They instilled in me the value of mentorship and inspired me to lean into my supervisor and teacher hats as a compliment to my direct practice work. As a Senior Adjunct Lecturer at Columbia University School of Social Work since 2011, I have developed and taught courses on both the Residential and Online Campuses, supervised master level students, and collaborated on multi-disciplinary projects. In 2023, I joined the University of Vermont’s Department of Social Work in the College of Education and Social Services as a part-time Lecturer where I taught across the MSW and BSW programs.
